Selling Your Home · Straight answer from Kathleen

What happens if I don't get any offers?

No offers is data, not doom. It almost always says something specific about price, presentation, or the buyers who are seeing the home, and every one of those is fixable.

  • What happens if my house doesn't sell?

I will not let your listing drift. Within the first few weeks I am talking to every agent who toured, asking what the feedback says, and watching how your price compares to similar activity. That tells us precisely what to adjust.

Often the fix is pricing, and I will tell you that directly even when it is not what you hoped to hear. Sometimes it is showing feedback: a room that photographs smaller, a curb that needs a weekend of work, a marketing angle that missed the audience.

A stalled listing is exactly where experience earns its keep. This is not the moment to hope; it is the moment to adjust with evidence.

On the North Shore

North Shore markets can be seasonal and hyperlocal. A home that missed the spring wave in one coastal town may sell easily in the fall window, while a commuter-priced home in Beverly moves on its own schedule.
