Selling Your Home · Straight answer from Kathleen
Can I take my house off the market if I change my mind?
Yes. You can take your house off the market, and sometimes that is the right call for your life, not a reflection on the home or the marketing.

- Can I sell my house as-is if I stop showing it?
The listing agreement usually gives you the right to withdraw, sometimes with terms spelled out in writing. If your circumstances changed, a loss, a health concern, a job change, a health concern, or simply a decision to stay, tell me and we will handle it cleanly.
My only honest caution is timing. If the reason is that the market response disappointed you, withdrawing without adjusting price or presentation often just delays the same conversation. If the reason is your life, then it is the right move and there is nothing to apologize for.
Whenever you are ready again, the plan is ready too.
